Having discovered that Peugeot 206s are good fun to drive, I keep finding myself looking for one with a bit more go than my 1.1  Hence finding this (hope it's not a re-post)

Blimey, this is really appealing for some reason. I like anything with green carpets. I would definitely buy that if I had £500 to my name...

Hi, intestd in car m9 bt pls confurm ow menny camz?

Reminds me of when my old man was selling an mg metropolis turbot. One of the questions he got asked was if it had 'all of its turbos'. I think he replied with a yes, obvs.

Ironic really because we'd counted 3 cars it had been made out of...

Looks like the company behind it was dissolved a long time ago.

As opposed to having all 4 of its forward gears?

I always like to think the generation 1 BINI is the spiritual successor to the metro turdo.

Both of which have gearboxes not quite good enough, suspension parts that wear out for fun and a British Leyland approach to wiring.

1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5. One of my dream cars in the 90's, I went to see an immaculate one in a 16th century stable attached to to a posh house which had had £4k spent on repairs to the body recently, all lead loading etc. I knew when I saw it I couldn't leave it sleeping on the street by the sea.....

Tired looking Volvo 480 rotting on a bomb site in North Somerset for £700. These are getting rarer at sensible money. MOT expired 14 March 2009 so probably not much work needed.

That interior is beautiful.

no mention of clutch and/or flywheel been changed. wisdom says the clutch is good for 100,000 miles so it'll want one sooner or later.

BUT  it looks much better than mine,  which i love, and its 2 years older and has done 186,000 miles......

I think I'd rather go full Grandad and get a auto. Not keen on those beige steering wheels either.
