Yes, I have loads of love in my love stick for these.

They sound like shit, handle like shit and 99% of the equivillent made by other manufacturers is better in most ways.

It still didnt stop me buying a Simca ( Dodge) 1100 cc van back in the mid 80s, a stable mate of the Horizon and equally as shite ( fuck it could shift tho) so, yeah, Id have it! :D

I suppose, when it comes down to it, buying one now would be scraping the barrel of eccentricity, christ, it even makes buying a Dacia Denim seem normal...

It mentions the engine management light being on in the text.

 

I'd be more bothered about the water/engine temp when they took that picture. :shock:

This Sunbeam apparently hasn't moved since 1975, I don't think white does it any favours in the looks department. But neither does 35 years of neglect.

Cortina is ace...but not a Zetec. That's a I4 or DOHC lump. Would suit that Mk2 far better than a Zetec imho. Which is lucky....

You're right. He does say it's an RS2000 motor but they're not zetecs are they?

Aye, that's not a Zetec. And the RS2000 had the 16v twincam, so he's both right and wrong at the same time. But mostly wrong.

Car's nice though.
