I don't think I ever stopped liking these things.   They are still cheap too.  Maybe I should get another before they get valuable.  That would be a good way of ensuring they stay cheap.  I always lose money on cars I buy.  Without fail.

The one looks like if it could complain it would definitely complain about the wheels.  Needs something more dignified.  Steels.

Is this a common conversion? I did not know.

Oldsmobile Visa Cruiser. - on eBay

99p start - no idea what reserve is.  More than £25 is my guess.

That was at Beaulieu Garage last year when up at £12500

And they made a much better effort with the photos...

A weldathon too far it seems

It looks like spares only although I'm quick to write things off as I cannot weld at all.  I'm not even sure the price would back up the parts value.  An interesting thing though.  It should have really stayed up there.  Much more interesting.

Amongst some yoof lowering is the in thing. They also tend to pineapple them with roof racks etc. Totally ruins the best thing about 2cvs which is the suspension.

As for the engine, yes, it’s been done to a few now with varying degrees of success. They run some in the 2cv race series.

However, my biker and 2cv friend doesn’t rate the engine. Says they run hot anyway on a bike and closing them in an engine bay won’t help. Bmw caution against idling the bikes for extended periods. Eg at lights.

Selling my 1982 Mercedes W123 230e manual for unforseen circumstances.

Its a project and needs work to the rear arches which have been cut out and new ones supplied.

Fuel lines have been removed and tank removed to clean out but needs refitting and new lines. The engine does run very well (had it running on easy start)

The interior is very good and just needs a clean up.

The V5 has been applied for as its been mislayed and will be passed on to the new owner and full reciept given.
