He didn’t have a price on there before, now he’s got ‘best offer over £500’ which suggests to me that however much you offer he’ll be tempted to ‘just hold out for a little longer’ to see if any more bids come in, with the result that no deal ever takes place. Plus £500 is not mega cheap, its got no tax or test and has done 260,000

€450 euroids??!

That's Hillmanimp's old DAF, and before (or after, I can't remember which) him it belonged to Scooters.

Aye that was mine, I bouoght it from Scooters. That is a REALLY old photo that appears to have been lifted from this thread in 2009.

http://dafcars.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pictures&action=print&thread=804

I was offered it for a couple of hundred quid after drunkenly posting that I would have it back when on the DAF forum a few weeks back but had forgotten I had done that and only picked up my messages last week. Whilst I have no time to work on it in the near future I could have stashed it away in a garage and would have got to it eventually. However it seemed like it had gone to a good home but apparently not, just someone up for a quick buck eh?

The story is the chap I sold it to only managed to simply lose an indicator and then crash it into a bollard or something the day he sold it to the new owner, through out his ownership. The new owner then took it for an MOT who failed it massively on all sots of things which was obviously bollocks as it had done about 200 miles since the last MOT. Unless the chap I sold it to had parked it in the middle of the dead sea, they were making quite a lot of stuff up

Its a bit rough round the edges (there were some bad historic repairs on it) and the paint is rough but its a solid enough old bus.

Looks like a recent pic of the Escort at least ...

A 2dr scrote estate is one of the few Fords I would have.

It is a bit steep for a 305, considering they have sod all of a following and that mine cost £206 off eBay, taxed and tested. And mine is an S5 which is WEL RAR man.

OK, it blew its expansion tank out of its arse 5 miles away from the place of sale, but WATEVA. That bloke has elevated tendencies if he can't even be arsed to put a firm price on it. I hate dithering twats like him. JUST TELL US HOW MUCH YOU WANT FOR IT YOU BELL-END.

Fair enough. I get swayed by rare old beige diesel estates with nice interiors

If it was a proper commercial van, would it be worth plenty more? 504 Pickups etc seems to be worth loads

Not keen on modern Audis but these old 80 Coupes are rather swish.

I do like the look of these .... this one looks lovely and is currently cheap. If my deal for another Lancia falls through I may be tempted ...

De-scened this could be really nice ...

GOLD TERCEL HATCHBACK

This is pretty cool, and rare, It looks good on the MR2 alloys.

I know this car, it's well worth a purchase. I'd buy it myself but for the usual reasons because I think it's a proper little stunner that'd look amazing with just a little TLC here and there.
