1.6 Mini Cooper bollocked clutch for £300. Surely it's not too expensive for a new clutch.

Looks well cared for. Clutch ? or a Fucked Midlands Rover built under licence from VW, but we never quite got it right gearbox ?

^^ A production-line Peugeot 604 with a Chrysler 318 would have been rather interesting, :-)

I could be imagining things but I seem to remember reading something about them considering doing a small-V8 version of the Chrysler 180 / 2-litre at one point. Maybe I dreamt it.

You're probably thinking/dreaming of the Humber SuperSnipe fitted with 318ci Chrysler

Repatriated Spanish Montego. Nice picture

I would have thought this LHD Spaniard would have sold by now.  Now listed on C&C

I saw this on the M1 Herts a few months back, still on its Franco Plates, in torrential rain.  It might have been still on its first trip to Blighty

Austin mayfair 2.0. it seems to have it all.

You're thinking of Maestros, which used a bought-in VW 084 gearbox.

The (early) Bini used a PSA MA gearbox, also used in the Rover R8/R3.

Both were complete shite, even in the cars they were originally designed for.
