eBay tat volume 3.

First of all hello - long time reader but never posted before, mainly because I haven't owned a car in the last few years. However, previous form includes:

'88 Mk1 Rover 827

'89 W124 Merc 260E

'91 Saab 900 SE 16v

'99 Alfa 156

Each of which were purchased for less than £600, and caused both pleasure and pain in fairly equal ratios.

I now have a car again, which is a 2005 Honda Accord, but in my defence it has done 176k and has a powered tailgate. Which doesn't work properly.

Anyway, I've broken my silence to bring you this bargain R8 which has turned up on my facebook feed:

Do please enjoy.

Be like me, just a lot wealthier and more attractive. (A bit like all of my friends really...)

Despite that pretentious grille and aspirational wheeling... that, my friends, is an early Ford Sierra Base.  The lesser spotted 3 door model no less.

The outcome is so grimly predictable that it's upsetting.  I may go and have a look as, at the right price, it's probably a sound investment.  The only problem being the only way to 'realise' ones investment is to allow its rape and ruin.

RWD-only version with ridiculous side-pipes. Tragic.
