Any MOT'd e28 has got to be worth having I reckon. The 520 isn't the quickest of cars but it's very smooth. Can be fixed with a basic toolkit too.

That 520i looks nice. Sure it's be slower than vauxhall marketing campaign response, use lots of fuel and bits of the floor will have rusted away but finding one with an mot for less than grand is getting harder and harder.

Get them to check the trailing arm mounts as well - I don't know if it's just an optical illusion but that rear wheel looks like it's at a bit of a jaunty angle.
