It's Christine!  "Before!" obviously...

If you are trying to say some arsehole will paint it red with a white top, you're undoubtedly right.

Someone might, but not me.  I wouldn't paint it at all!  Fix up and drive as-is.  That's what that car needs.  Until some wealthy Swedish collector makes me an offer I can't refuse (I can dream!).

For those who enjoy getting seasick, a brown DS:

With beige interior:

Slight body damage to the pass side rear door, drivers door and slight crease on rear wing.

Typical French spec for a car living in the middle of nowhere. Imagine what it would look like if it were driven in Paris.

a shipping charge to Dover, England of £850 will apply to the final price.

Shipping a car from the USA costs less.

Blimey, some work has gone into this. I'm not sure why it exists though

That widened Mini... As there's nothing mini about it any more, shouldn't it be given a name to suggest it's now larger...I don't know, maybe something like Maxi? Sounds like it could work...

Jeezers does this look shit!

Add £500 for wings and bumpers with the bonus of picking your own style....and this could end up a bit of a bargain...maybe...

According to a colleague who was a Vauxhall tech at the time, even the guys at Vauxhall admitted that they were built to "North American tastes and standards".

They may have meant "North Korean".

Seller says that VIN is not stamped into the body but on pop riveted plate - however Metro Mk1 and 2 had VIN in the engine compartment drain lip at the scuttle edge stamped into the shell.

My two'pennorth is its a late Mk2 bodyshell /interior - even the inside isnt Mk1 - RINGADINGADINGDONG

It's a VERY late mk2 with the fuel filler in that position.

I have never wanted to own a car more than this Ital, It's everything I ever wanted.

Did you buy it yet and if not why not?

The main reason is the 10,500 miles between me and it. Other than that, i'm there!

Also, its a HLS not an SLX, not that it matters really...

That Talbot is certainly grim.   Not sure if it's for starting a holiday or a five-stretch.

Oddly* the vendor points out all the other obvious photographed defects such as the cut headlining, torn seat etc.   Except the bit which has fallen out of its arse....
