I can't explain why I like these old tubs so much. Maybe I'm an old bastard. Maybe it's because back then Toyota still knew how to Toyota. Or because I use to see loads of them parked on drives when I use to do my paper round but they make me all warm and fuzzy inside.

That Maxi picture is absolutely brilliant.Without the supermarket (or whatever it is) in the background and those modern cars, it could have been shot in the early 80's.

I quite like inappropriate wheels on old cars, after all it's only 16 or 20 bolts to make them original again.

And as for Minilites ( or more likely copies) I've yet to see a car that doesn't look cool on them.

I just came on here to post up that ^^ abomination

 

But mainly for this bit

 

with a huge air 50 turbo mainly found on lorrys and straight through pipe which exits the bonnet, perfectly leagal as it only just past the m.o.t,

 

 

sounds like a thoroughly pleasant and practical mod for the extra bit of driving experience..
