OMG, and here's a decent and reasonably-priced Morris Major Elite!

Because these cars were so reliable and well-made, they just kept going and going until absolutely run into the ground.  So most of the survivors are absolutely f***ed for that reason.  Just worn out.

Decent ones are shooting up in value, because knock BMC all you like, and deride these cars as unfashionable if you wish, but they were QUALITY. No irony.

Those mk1 fastbacks are such a handsome elegant and purposfull shape. a prime example of a facelift ruining a lovely looking car.

The seller appears to be attached to the vehicle by a 4 foot length of invisible rope, hence being unable to capture the whole thing in one pic

Nearly bought one of those back when I was at college, couldn't afford it in the end, two of my mates used it as their learner bike before moving on to bigger/faster/newer things. Those ones are a bit odd in that they use the old style 1970s mudguards and fuel tank, late 80s lights and instruments but overlap production with the newer looking CG-125. From what I've read they were marketed in Japan as the "Classic" and loads found their way over to the UK.

The old shape Honda CG 125 is very seventies looking, and has an odd neutral up, four down gear change, but it is great fun to ride.

I want this Yamaha, but it is too spenny.

Hang on didn't BL make a metro van?

So yours is a one off because no one else was daft enough to spend time turning a metro into a halfbaked van #mindboggles

Still it is only £450 BIN or offer with no Mot

If you could see it in person, you’d instantly fall in love with the custom bodywork, the deep black shine of the paintwork, sparkling chrome twin exhausts and the iconic golden Firebird upon the hood.

If you could drive this historic car, then you’d savour the heavy roar of the V6 engine. You’d experience economical exhilaration, hard suspension, four-wheel brakes and feather light steering.

You’d feel proud to own and drive this exclusive car and you’d never forget the way that it made you feel inside.

Conclusion: Read 50 shades of grey too many times.

“Minor dent shown in pictures. Driver side front wing and a crack on the rear bumper. Car is in immaculate condition despite being parked for a long time. That is the only damage on the car.â€

Hardly immaculate. And not so-called 'minor'.

They must have the most comically oversized headlights of any car ever. Hideous.

That Firebird bullshit guy ("4 WHEEL BRAKES") is a class act. It doesn't even start FFS!!!! Predictably he reckons it just needs plugs and carb cleaner, "but the local classic car specialist is booked up for 4 months" so he's selling it as is.

FUCK OFF!!!!!

I reckon he's found an original sales brochure under the seat or something, no mere mortal could make up that quality of sales guff.
