fuel pipes showing slight signs of corrosion, brake pipes showing signs of corrosion, ns sill holed needs welding and a n/s an o/s track rod end has play

Oh aye, none of that lot should stop it getting to the church admittedly.

At least that 'wedding car' is quite high up to make it easier for the groom to climb the church roof and rob the lead.

Shitting nora if it's not a FACELIFT Alfa 166 3.2v6 with manual gearbox. 1200 quid with  long MOT.

I'm off to lock myself in the shed for a cool down.

Sold by someone who hasn't realised that phones still work if you turn them sideways

If it runs and drives, why the hell didn't they take it outside to photograph?

They couldn't afford the fuel.

These thing are quite rare in Australia, I don't ever recall seeing one not in a for sale ad

it just needs the lower right side wing repaired (panel is available from Ebay OZ)

Good Luck finding one less rusted than the one currently on the car!

then painting either in the original White or Matt black and rat rod it.

Don't tell me what to do when I buy it, I'll paint it purple if want too!

This seller was easily the best buyer I have dealt with in a long time.

I advertised the car, the same day, he phoned, negotiated £100 off the price, booked my tame transport guy, and paid a significant deposit. A few days later, with the car on the truck, he paid me the balance and paid the transport chap in cash on delivery.

He had always wanted one and was going to to restore it. Why do people bother with that trader's bullshit? I don't care what you're going to do with it. It's yours.

Now, it is possible that he discovered that it needed more work than he thought, but unlikely because I went through exactly what it needed, but if he bought it to sell on, he's still a long, long way from breaking even, let alone in profit and weirdly, he's not mentioned the extremely good, rare and valuable interior (probably £750 worth), the uncracked dash (another easy £200 now) or the four BBS with centre caps - another easy £250.

As amateur dealers go.......

What do you expect for an 11k asking price?

Some effort?

A helicopter parent to which degree must one be to do something like this?

My father didn't blink an eyelid when I bought a '60 LeSabre with the 300hp Power Pack 364 as my first car.

He didn't rip it out to replace it with the 250hp 2bbl low compression 364 without telling the reg office.

He also refrained from invalidating my insurance by presumably not telling them either.

He also didn't replace the 1100cc engine in my mother's R4 with an 850cc one just because I used that

car from approximately the tenth of most Months.

He had better things to do.
