I actually really dig how these look, are they any good? I saw someone that did some rally modifications including DIY perspex headlamp covers. Looked really cool. Edit: Here.

i really like the Streewise too, the kettle series and not having any cash have been obsicles to me actually owning one.

i did have a 25 though, and i thought that was a fine little car, engine aside.

those headlamp covers are pukka MGR ones, i have a pair of them in the shed. i had them on my car, when i had it, they also fit the MG ZR as well as the 25. the covers over the foglamps on the other hand, they are definitely a home brew item. they look good all the same.

I am putting this one here because I followed a silver one of these, with a G registration, from Hyde Park Corner to Marble Arch today.  It looked lovely.  Park Lane was thronged with modern luxury cars - blingy, vulgar and ugly.  By contrast, the simple elegance of the old Merc seemed mucho classy.   I know Jack Shit about Mercs, but I really liked the look of the silver one.

The one I saw looked a bit like the one below (and this is the angle I mainly saw it from).  Presumably a late registration, as G is about 1990, IIRC.

these have always been fairly high on my want list especially pre HE early black bumper cars

This one is salty with a lot of known faults and being sold by what would appear to be a bellend

I'm 99% certain there were 'N' plate XJSs, must be incredibly rare though. That said something about that car doesn't look right, can't put my finger on it but it just looks wrong for such an early one.

I really wanted one of these for a daily, but they suddenly shot out of practical reach while I wasn't paying attention. So I bought the 124 instead.

They are perfect once you became too old for your Rover 75.

located in Airdrie Scotland..... this is the no door model

I quite fancy one of these as a "giffers motorcycle substitute".

But I have been at the Leffe.

Epic collection thread opportunity however: Airdrie to Hereford in 50 mile hops with no heater, in January.post-17481-0-42283400-1484858649_thumb.png

Bit of a bitsa between a VDP and a Vitesse but nice enough. Probably one winter off a tide mark

But look at this, probably a whole colony of fucking smurfs living in there and you would never know
