This has a lot going for it

It needs welding, it needs bodywork sorting, it needs an engine, gearbox, wiring, seats, brakes, suspension, EVERYTHING sorting on it.
There is a fairly substantial amount of rust on it, under it, on the sides, so it is a MAJOR PROJECT!
So you've been warned!
Also I never applied for the logbook so it comes without a logbook / v5 registration document.

On a seperate note; underwhelming photos, less that detailed description. Proper main dealer effort that.

I'd do naughty things to that GS van (park it in the street, do loads of miles, only service it rarely etc) buy I have zero chance of raising any money at the moment :(

I presumed it was front suspension issues not the rear arms rotting through. Never heard of that before on one of these. When are you picking it up?

They are quite good at it - this from the Rover forum (and not an isolated case) -

Nice, its even the ultra rare correctly registered version:2c650886557a1effba3eece15274c84d.jpg

I didn't think there were any out there that weren't "registered as a 125 M8"

That would be the two stroke model. Which is also the model which is a far faster way to get yourself in hospital, lots more fun and 100 times more scary when "going for it".

Only made for a few years with a Yellow top engine and a B axle.

Those in the know will tell you this is model to have as as they have the most power and best axle ratio available.

Ideal for Trike making or Bond Bug conversion.

the car is currently sorn of road and has no mot it ran out in early November.

the advisories from last year 2015 were brake pedal rubber worn, outer skin on rear exhaust flaking, and slight corrosion on brake pipes.

I have not taken it for the new mot, my plans were to wait until after Christmas hence making the vehicle sorn of road.
