Love that Sierra - not even a bad price for a car in that shape. I'd certainly be more than a little tempted if it was closer and I had the space...

Shame it'll most likely end up as yet another cosworth rep, or worse still, in the hands of someone who'll weld the diff and throw cheap eBay parts at it until they crash it into a tree or something

Blimey that Maser looks dismal inside

Imagine the smell!

Like mine, but newer, in better nick and lower mileage, although with less MOT.  I'll be interested to see what this makes.

Nicely Pogweaseled Sherpa pickup with an XUD9T fitted.  Would, if it weren't nearly in Cornwall.

Shitting hell, that's absolutely ace. Well spotted.

It breaks it on all mobiles - including chrome on my Nexus 5.

The story so far: Dude buys the cut off front half of a TR6. This is long gone, but its chassis plate has been retained. There is no numberplate, so he asks the DVLA to issue one.

they sent me back [a letter] saying that the car would need to be restored and checked to get the registration document

Which will be difficult, since it does not exist.

when i hpi'd the commission number there is no record of any info of the vehicle because it has been off the road that long...

So this means they probably wouldn't just print you off a new V5 even if you knew what the numberplate was. Gets better though...

...it has been off the road that long so theres a good chance that it has a low amount of previous owners

What the fuck does the number of previous owners matter when the car doesn't exist?

the plates are well weathered

Throw them in the bin.

I DONT EXPECT THE AD PRICE!

You don't expect £2,500? Why do you expect anything? You are selling a few bits of tin, they are rubbish. Put them in the bin. They're not even useful for ringing a stolen car!
