This will be the Holy Grail of collectable Freelanders in 20 years , especially if it's still got a rear prop.

Not sure about the sellers assertion that it's got a Conran designed interior, that's one for the Bullshit facts thread.

I reckon it looks fantastic!  That green!  Those seats!  Those hernias.

That Land Rover badge makes it instant classic* once into the second decade of life. Similar to the MG badge law

Terence Conran?  I thought that was Discovery 1, not Freelander.

Nowt in the ARonline write-up.  And Keith surely would have mentioned that fact*

Indeed, it's an easy mistake to make.

The Freelander interior was actually designed by recent Mickey Warner award recipient, Terry Conlon.

He designed it in his spare time a few years ago, before he had all his food service provision responsibilities.

Look at this beauty.  I reckon that wind deflector on the cab roof should increase the top speed to at least 43mph.

Posh diesel Cav.  Could be a bargain if it doesn't need too much work.

Is this one of the ex-Panhard65 cars?

$_57.JPG

Yeap that was my spares car he has done a fair bit to it. It was seized solid when I had it so he has done well to free it off, but I expect the engine will be fucked. Why they think a "DECLARATION DE CESSION D'UN VEHICULE" is any good to register it I don't know. You can download them easily enough and I know there was no carte gris on this one. Good luck to him though he has had it ages and done a lot of work to the pair of them and seen very little profit.

FOR SALE IS A 1996 MGF 1.8VVC, GOOD ALL ROUND CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT.

IT HAS NO MOT BUT FAILED LAST AUGUST ON EMMISIONS AT TICKOVER, BRAKE IMBALANCE ON REAR,HEADLAMP ALIGNMENT,AND SUSPENSION ONE SIDE.

I HAVE PUMPED UP THE SUSPENSION, AND CHECKED THE EMMISIONS THEY SEEM OK. THERE IS LITTLE WORK TO DO.

IT HAS AN EXTENSIVE HISTORY AND HAD AN ENGINE REBUILD AT NINE THOUSAND MILES BY MG ROVER UNDER WARRANTY.

IT HAS BEEN LAID UP SOME TIME BUT APPARANTLY PRIOR TO IT'S LACK OF USE

IT HAD THE HEAD GASKET DONE, SADLY THE IDIOT THAT DID IT BUT BACK THE

LIFTERS ANY WAY SO IT IS A BIT TAPPETY.

IT DRIVES FINE AND IS FAIRLY QUICK, NEEDS A CLUTCH CABLE AS IS VERY STIFF, DUE PROBABLY TO BEING OFF ROAD.
