I almost bought this J reg Clio this morning, but Peter James wanted an extra £83 to insure it so I didn't. Seller sounds a decent lad when I messaged him, and it had cambelt, tensioner and waterpump done last year.

OK it's an automatic Renault, but looks decent enough.

Edit2: this is better than mine, ok I have the cachet* of early model, but this has more usable 1.8, 'electric current' red paint work....headlights that won't go yellow...

Citroens attempt the facelift the C5 and make it less flumpish almost worked.

When I drove to spain someone in the group had the same 1.6hdi one with 270k on it and it went into limp home mode about 5 times an hour.
