That's the absolute spit of my third Allegro.  Same year, same model, same colour, same interior.  Mine only had 37,000 miles on it - although it had no MOT and wasn't quite as shiny.  I paid £42 for it, plus £5.70 for a set of points and a condenser to get it running again.  Those were the days etc.

Right by Forden airport. At the bottom of the ramp behind that car is a small industrial estate with a  recovery company and a bodyshop, all part of my patch in my last job.

I'd like to think that the poor thing committed suicide.

The burnt, stretched P38 - "Insurance job", those things aren't useable now because of the sideways seats. (Someone in a pub told me)
