This must be the cheapest MPW I've ever seen.

Want level critical.

That's exactly what I'd expect a Rolls-Royce owner to say.

Thank you so much for reinforcing my prejudices.

I'd be such an arrogant arsehole if I owned this car.

I already am one so seriously tempted, but buying it would just about clean me out and I doubt I could then afford the petrol to get it home. If you're serious about it, I do know someone local to Cheltenham who I trust and who knows his Rolls Royces and Bentleys that I could ask to check it out for you. (Although there is a risk, as he does tend to panic buy them, that he might end up buying it for himself)

Is the A2 a letdown? I like those Materias, I've only seen one on the road, they must have been launched not long before Daihatsu pulled out of the UK. OBSCURE.

I like it but Mrs c hadn't taken to it. Being a fud I think er bought that car I wanted rather than the one we needed. I've just driven it back from Glasgow and it's pretty cool, quite nippy too .

Those 1800 Corollas are supposed to be a bit underwhelming from what I've read.  Shame really - remove the daft spoiler and one of those with a decent engine would make quite a good sleeper.

They seemed to shy away from doing quick Corollas after the GT, remember the weedy G6s which ran the same 1.6 and 1.3 engines as any other Corolla.

Rusty, faded Escort 1.8D estate. Misery. The seats in these are quite comfy though.

So miserable, in fact, the vendor is shooting himself in the face.

Blimey, someone got a massive bargain on that VTR!

Yup, and it wasn't me  :-(  - logistics (and explaining it to the missus...) were going to be a PITA.

I like that. There's a hint of Morris 8 about the grille, nice interior, tidy looking styling, even painted in decent colours.

Yes it's silly, but is that so very intolerable?
