Actually, a weak pump could cause those symptoms. They don't tend to suddenly fail, they just get weak (I suspect my latest BX has a weak pump). Or it could just be that it needs an LHM flush and filter clean-out, which is probably Ã‚Â£20's worth of fluid and about an hour's work.

This looks absolutely great! Love the little chromey bits in the bumpers.X-reg too, must be one of the very first. I like these old Polo saloons, the shape looks very 'right' to me, unlike the breadvan ones.

I have never had her running. Two years ago I fitted new plugs, points, leads, coil and distributor cap and she tried to fire up. Due to the old petrol I decided to strip the carb, but it is still in pieces on the bench
