Even if it were possible I wouldn't ride it. He must have resorted to some sort of bodgery to fit that engine to a 6V 90 because that model has different engine mounting holes to all the others.

 

Also, the racket from that pound shop exhaust will drive you mad, with the added bonus of attracting the attentions of Plod to your incorrectly-registered ride.

 

I like these bikes a lot - I still have a couple myself - but as they become more popular with butchers customisers they are starting to represent seriously bad value for money.

That should be a Dignitas advertising picture. Can you even begin to imagine how miserable it must be to live there (and it's London, so those wanky shoebox apartments are probably about £800,000 each) then get up every morning to be faced with a six hours, five mile journey in an automatic Daewoo Nubira?

Which it isn't. Still, it's mot'd until March and is only 80 quid. How hard can it be?

There was one of these sat down near my lockup for months and would never start of the crank but if you shoved some easy start up there it'd go then run fine until you shut it off.

They never did get to the bottom of it but to fair I don't think they looked too hard.

I'm sure* there will be someone ready to strip a Mk1 Escort to rebuild that wonderful kit car, I remember a similar looking thing based on the Morris Minor Traveller/Van/Pick-up.

I first drove this vehicle back from Surrey to Hertfordshire round the M25.  It is not a journey I would wish to repeat, nor would I recommend it.
