Do all motorised vehicles need registered in the UK? I was watching a thing about the USA that said anything under 50cc doesn't need to be registered.

Sadly anything with an engine has to be registered, tested and taxed in the UK, with those few known test and tax exemptions.

Also, you need some kind of licence to drive/ride it.

I don't know of any other country where this is the case. Usually <50cc can be ridden from age 15 and all that's needed is an insurance tag.

I found it quite weird that I actually had to register my NSU Quickly in England.

It's lovely but it looks like it's got a manual box which isn't popular on these. How do you work the parking brake and the clutch?

Yes four on the tree.  Clutch pedal is there, it's the throttle that's out of shot

You twist to lock the brake.

Push pedal to engage, pull lever on dash to release and yes it is a pain in the are . My c220 coupe had the same problem , you get used to it eventually .

I think it does run or the test drive they're offering is going to need someone to push. It is a bit odd that they're wanting the buyer to apply for the v5. Why not apply yourself?

That was sold new about 4 miles from where I live - now it's the other end of the country!
