To be honest I've not really any idea what spurious/genuine claims this bloke is waffling on about (proper TL:DR job) but what a fancy looking motor...

Absolutely.

Everything else can be fixed.

 You are just too fussy sometimes, I have some genuine fake sheepskin covers (made from fake sheep) in the airing cupboard that would fix* the beautiful cowskin seats

Sounds like a lot of bollocks to me.

Apart from the obvious, steering wheel on the wrong side, Merkur's had different lights,no headlamp wash,no wing repeaters,a moulded rear spoiler containing a high level brake light, a full width reflector panel and different alloys . The ad doesn't mention air con which not only Merkur's would have had but also all Euro and British Scorpios. This looks like a 2.9 Ghia Granny that someone's fitted a nice velour Scorpio interior, body mouldings and wheels to, oh, and a Merkur's badge from US eBay .
