eBay tat volume 3.

I want something based on a poorly built, dynamically underwhelming hatchback!  OK.

Now cut the roof off so it's even worse!  OK.

Paint it in pink and silver, it's not 1982 but I wish it was!  OK.

I don't want power, I want a wheezy, underpowered engine with an appetite for valve stem seals!  OK.

I don't want alloys, I want hubcaps that look like they came off a Mondeo taxi!  OK.

Could I also have flaking paint and rampant rot?  Yes sir!

Alright, I'm being mean, it's not quite that bad, looks like an original and honest old thing.  It's so horrible I'm almost tempted.

Newer shape mx-5 with grenaded engine for 700 quid. I've seen a few of these now with knackered engines I dunno if it's a hard of life of lack of maintenance. Anyway, whats the bets the 1.8 in this bears no relation to the one in the previous model?

These run a Ford engine, not sure what it is or what it's out of but it's a common old thing!

That RR above, must be really close to me as its a TQ1 postcode and so is mine! Never seen it round here.

I've seen that same design tattood above several fat arses in the local jacuzzi!

As long as it's not the local yakuza.

That Range Rover, maybe i'm insane. But aren't those the ones where the body is bolted to the chassis with about 6 bolts?

Meaning a body swap takes about 12 minutes?

Or have I been on the absinthe again?

10 body mounts, steel bolts that will have rusted to fuck but yes is a straightforward job except that a loaded Vogue body will weigh over a tonne. rear seatbelts bolt to chassis, disconnect steering column, engine and fuel tank electrics, fuel tank filler, handbrake and gear lever gubbins, speedo drive and bumpers and it should lift with a fork lift through the door openings ;)

The going rate for a 2nd hand mk2 mx-5 1.8 engine is about 250 quid. One of these is more like 1200! You could probably get the original rebuilt for that
