Regarding XJ6 with wheel trims......

 

Well,the factory managed it in weird TD metric flavour and Ford 15" variety.

No,definitely plastic,the centres popped off and the wheel bolts held the plastic trim on ,but a steel rim behind it all.

These,were the only alloy available on early metric cars, optional on XJs,standard on Sovereigns and Daimlers. The Daimlers had smooth centres.

IF you had left me a text message I COULD have phoned you, spoken about the car and maybe come after work on my way home from Derby to Merseyside, but as I had no text message, I had no way to make this happen.
I'm not sure why you can't follow a simple request but some people blindly continue on their own path, regardless.
Was it the bit about me making a reasonable offer? I'm not sure why that would be so bad. I might have offered more than you want. or I might not. What I would have done is point out every single fault, and justified my offer to you based on that. And then you might have counter offered.
Anyway, I'm not back in the area until next week, I'll probably have bought a different car, and you will have sold it to someone else.
Good luck for now. Try to be less erm ANGRY in your adverts.

Hyundai Terrahawk.  I find these weird appealing although the interior reminds me of a plastic dustbin I bought a while back. This ones cheap but has a short MOT.

My only knowledge of these is positive but secondhand.

One of my workmates had one from new for 5 years, trouble free.

Another bloke, who bought a set of tyres from me that fitted it, had one from new, it was 4.5 years old @ 150k miles and still under makers warranty, he reckoned some bits of trim had come loose and a rear diff seal had gone, all fixed cheerfully and without question under warranty.

Lovely sounding engine.

To you boys that whinged about the colour of that Bentley, let me just say: YOU ARE BOTH FUCKING WRONG!!!!!!!! :)  I lurve that colour and when I eventually get one, that is the colour it will be... though without the matching interior armrests!
