The seller has just irrationally annoyed me by being in the same region of France where we used to have a house. I miss the house and the area like crazy and it still gets to me. Fuck.

 

Nice pair of project cars though.

You could make a camper from yon Metro Chairman, if you really like sleeping in a standing position.

 

I see this as a donor car for something else ( hopefully a Metro) - there's got to be a limited market for the Metro Chairman and better ones have already been saved.

That Astra could be a bit of a miserable bargain. Pathetically shit attempt at photos though - and he's a motor trader, so it's his livelihood, but yet he just can't be arsed! The mind boggles.

That is truly hideous. I don't suppose you fancy making enquires for me as I will have a truck out there in the next few weeks to bring something back. At the moment there is very little floating my boat out there within my 1000 euro budget

I don't think it'll float like a boat, more sink like a shit version of the Esprit in the Bond film, actually with a bit of a squint it does look just like an Esprit

 

Also I'm pretty sure I saw that Metro Chairman not so long ago at the multi-cultural boot-sale in Bessemer road Cardiff, it looked quite at home there

A good friend bought a 2 year old GTV, metallic beige (really!) with that same stupid speedo in front of the passenger and an impossibly crap gearchange.

He poured money into that car, but it poured out ever faster as rust and it was all done at about 5 years old. Fuckin thing.

The top and bottom twists and there's a vertical rocker switch on the left you can't see in the pic which is the indicators.
