I'm after one of these atm.

I could live with just about all of those bastardisations in the short term.  But not that fucking side exit exhaust.

 

Shame, as Redline/Bluelines are proper thin on the ground.  But I'm sure there's a better car out there.

Very. Holden, in their engineering wisdom* decided to make a 1.9L 4 by taking a hacksaw to their old 173ci straight-six motor. The result was simply AWFUL.

 

Poor torque, poor balance, wouldn't rev, and was rough,noisy and harsh.

 

Even in a Torana, driving with one was a chore.

Is it very wrong that I don't think that Veranti MR2 convertible thing is actually too bad? We've all seen much, much worse fates befall early 90s MR2s.  (Not that I'd ever actually want to own it, mind you - God no.)

I though that was based on the newer MR2 not the old one, which makes it slightly less pointless but still shit. Any idea what the back lights are off?

They look like Pug 206 lights to me (in a Halfords Lexus-alike aftermarket version, obv).  L-reg would suggest mk2 MR2, no?  The one that looks identical* to a Ferrari 348 if you just sellotape some cardboard to each end and stick a big yellow horsey badge on the front wing.
