White white hen.  Seller reckons it's solid so shouldn't need more than 3,000 hours or so of welding.

Just imagine the sheer joy of seeing those rear wheels shatter into pieces as the jaws of the crusher close around that POS.

It wasn't that long ago these bogo spec golfs in this doom terracotta where everywhere.

This one sounds like James Brown fodder unfortunately.

Known issues

– persistent oil leak, was advised this may be the cylinder head gasket
– leaks in heavy rain due to perished window seals
– prone to carb icing in the winter months
– scratch down passenger side
– hole worn in fabric of drivers seat
– back drivers-side door has a ‘knack’ to opening
– clutch cable is a repaired job by the RAC, however she comes with the new clutch cable that I never got round to fitting
– the boot interior has never quite recovered from some spilt oil, boot liner included
– retired due to the low oil pressure buzzer sounding persistantly, could be cylinder head gasket, could just be a faulty buzzer
– no longer starts, most likely just a flat battery after sitting for a couple of years
– bodywork around the wheel arches looks to have deteriorated while she’s been sitting, although she has been covered
– likewise interior has suffered slightly from damp
