eBay tat volume 3.

It does indeed - see April's Practical Classics for details - it's James Walshe selling it. Nice back story, plus it's the skinny tyre base model that really does have the famous 0.30 Cd.

I'm about to disappear down the black hole of a client project in London, making collection difficult, or I'd be severely tempted.  I reckon that's a winner.

I love this shape BM tho I'm not sure of the Kermit colour and looks a bit bling but it's good to see a survivor. We had a 2800CS impounded by customs for years where I worked and that looked better for being plainer. I wonder why they feel the need to dress the car up as something it isn't?

I thought it was going to have huge wing mirrors or something...

Hooray for auto correct

We do know that all cars supplied to the oral household were registered to Rover and supplied through Thomas Day

^^ Was that really how the last 75s looked?  Looks like an amateur attempt at copying an Audi grill.

At first I thought it was a V8 grille

But they still have that half arsed, gap what gap ? Fit at the bonnet edge.

No,it would seem someone has been all the way to China for a grille

Or is this actually a Roewe development car? Might explain the digital TV infotainment and bolsteredMG type seats.

Don't know what is going on with that Rover's grill. My Rover 75 V6 Connoisseur was one of the very last made and it looked like this:

I'm sure it was one of the last because I got a phone call from the factory on the Tuesday saying it was ready and could I arrange collection. Before I could sort that out I got another phone call on the Thursday saying they had gone bankrupt and did I still want it.  I said yes!

The Roewe grille is a common enough mod (can't think why, it looks WANK, IMO), the headunit looks like a shite aftermarket one. Seats are standard Contemporary fit. The Contemporary spec was intended to be halfway between a normal R75 and a ZT (hence also the reduced use of chrome).

Can't be many late-model 75s in Botswana?
