Goliath was part of the Borgward group, and although having a flat four, it has no parts in common with any VW product.

It's like saying a Citroen GS, or an Alfasud, or a Subaru has VW content.

 

This is the Goliath engine:

Please note that this is not the engine that made it into the Lloyd/Borgward Arabella, as is commonly assumed.

For this, a new boxer engine was developed, by combining two two-cylinder engines from the LP series, and adding water cooling.

very good runner, cheap, comfortable, beautiful rover 75 connoisseur mileage 99,000 only 550 pounds, small scratch on the side, easy fix if you got time for it. Very good engine v6 2.0L the same like bmw 5 series from 2003, for questions pm me. On last MOT no advisory. Cumbria - Barrow in Furness

The way that interior has been butchered and the wheels and stickers, I'd say that's had a hard life recently. No thanks.

And I definitely dont like my....additional fuel rail?.... to be made from plumbing either.

 

And why can I see down the inlet tracts?

 

The dude reckons its making over 200 horses, and he has properly fucked up the exterior too.

 

And his pricing strategy doesnt make too much sense.
