It's like getting a really shit car and wrapping it up in a jumper you got for Christmas in 1974.

Has Trigsworth seen it yet...?

That's the look I'm hoping to go for with the Cortina!

That HRV is epic hideousness!

Take one, clean HRV, spend a fortune, countless hours and a few years to end up with a worthless piece of shit, on who's rear end the warning sticker reads, "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH".

I reckon most people will heed that advice... :D

I spent half an hour or looking at an XM yesterday. Verdict? 4/10 job.

Yea, many thanks for that too - I'm kind of thinking £250 would be my offer and I don't care if it comes my way.

Haven't emailed him yet - which shows how enthusiastic I am about it. My current two sound so much better.

If I think on later I'll do a 'drive by' as it's not far from where my wife works. I'll be bloody amazed if it's gone to be honest, he seemed a nice bloke but I reckon he was trying to pressure you with this 'other interested party' bit.

Cor, these must be mega unloved now if only £201 with 7 minutes to go. Ok, it's a crappy advert and it's done what K-series do but that seems a fair bit of car for sod all money to me.

I'd only be pressurised if I really, really wanted it! From your description, it'll need a visit to Cavette Enterprises for a couple of things like that alternator belt, and a drive to mine. And I don't think it'll be as nice as my two either.

Can't help feeling it'd be a money pit - it's all the silly stuff like the air con needing regassed, the fuel sender/gauge being sorted, replacing the main carpet that puts me off, more than anything major - the major stuff would see it being dismantled and heading over the bridge but the fiddly stuff needs fixed and it'd annoy me that it wasn't nice, being a 63000 mile car it shouldn't be that bad.

Can anyone remember the Mazda TV advert from the 1980s. I can - vaguely. :?

This A reg 323 will need some work. Current bidding is at £46.00.

Mostly likely welding the floor pans if its not been done already, best friends old man had one of these and the floor was so badly rotted they nearly used a years supply of welding gas to do it

XM still entrenched on Blacon drive way shocker.

Dare I say this doesn't look too bad for fifteen hundred rips?

It's not a 'real' frogeye and it's based on a Mini so is probably doubly awful and thus worth an inclusion on this thread I think. No reposts, nit picking splitters need not apply.

Looks bloody awful to me! Like a frogeye, but sort of stretched vertically upwards

There's a kit to turn a Mini into a Frogeye Sprite?

Why wouldn't you just buy a Midget and a fibreglass Sprite bonnet?

Looks like another Banham crock of shit. It's like he looks at pictures of what the cars actually look like, but via a fairground mirror.

In other news, that Marina is GORGEOUS!
