The number plate on the V5 does not seem to correspond to the one on the listing.

Is it someone trying to con a thief?

That AX is fantastic, well worth a little trip to France.

I think only the 3 door models had the giant Vittel bottle holders.

I'm pretty certain that they are for holding flasks of soup, when watching stock cars in Cowdenbeath.

I hope it still has the H pattern plaque. :-)

A bit salty perhaps,although it's sold anyway. I had to put this up because it's feckin ace. At first I thought it was a genuine Farnham conversion,but a little research shows it's all homemade in the style of a Farnham Zephyr. The fact there's people out there making this sort of thing almost makes up for shit like that e36.

Here's a handy way to calculate the oddness of your prospective purchase.  It's (x x y)z

Where:

x = The make

y = The model

z = The version, or distinguishing feature.

Worked example 1

Ford = 1

Focus = 1

1600cc GL = 1

Thus (1x1)1 = 1

Worked example 2

Honda = 2

FRV = 4

2 litre = 2

Thus (2x4)2 = 64

I'd like to put this forward for the highest score of the day.  Reliant scores well, Fox scores high too, but the fact that it's steam powered give it a final score of 5.9x10225

That steam powered Reliant is amazing!!! I imagine it does 30mph max and has a range of about 15 miles, and you can't carry anything in it as the load bay is full of water/coal.

I'm not crazy about A40s but look at this 18,000 mile one!

The tool kit is still in its cardboard box! Amazing. Although all four clearly perished 49 year old tyres are going to explode simultaneously if you do more than 5mph in it.

Judging by the background fleet, that beige Volvo seller needs to be on here.
