It currently has no drive.

Yea, but every automobile has issues - get rid of clutches and cambelt problems and you find head gaskets and wiring loom issues. What car has no clutch, a timing chain that outlasts continental drift, impeccable wiring and not even a thought about comprimising a cam belt? Serious enquiry :-)

You'd have thought Peter O'Toole would have had a Bentley or something, but then maybe he was a humble man who needed no such "penis extension".

 

Or maybe he wanted something inconspicuous that wouldn't attract the rozzers when he went for another crate or 10 of whiskey.

 

Or maybe he used to like getting thoroughly toasted, dressing up as General Douglas "Dugout Doug" MacArthur, climbing into a big hole in his garden, getting someone to drive "Tojo" too and fro across a nearby field and taking pot shots at it with his shotgun.

My Volvo 144 145 auto seized the torque-converter stator's one-way clutch and an oil-feed problem ran the rocker shaft dry. 

 

Sometimes you can't win  :-(

Its also nice of the seller to include a picture of the V5 with his address.

 

I bet some saddo checks Google Maps to see what his gaff was like and to check if the car was on the front drive....

Seeing this F reg white Bluebird has given me an idea to start an Autoshite Taxi firm, the fleet would consist of this Bluebird plus;

 

1987/E Cavalier Saloon Diesel in red

1988/F Sierra Hatch 1.8 LX in blue

1989/G Sapphire Diesel in red

1988/F Carlton 1.8 GL in blue

1990/G Peugeot 405 Diesel in white

 

All with 12 foot CB aerials attached and Poundland wheel trims.

1995 Astra 1.4 8v NO TAX OR TEST but don't think it will need much to pass one, ideal for a learner as it has PAS,ABS etc
Electric windows, central locking and immobiliser,
runs and drives as it should, needs a header tank cap and a new fuel cap, needs new inlet pipe from airbox to inlet

£100 if gone tonight been offered more for it scrap but too good to scrap in my opinion if it doesn't sell i'll take it to my rents caravan and rag it round the farm and surrounding areas till it dies or i bin it in a hedge simple,

Was used for my missus to learn in but i've now bought her a vectra gsi and i have my focus so it's no longer needed.

Car is in Ellesmere port,Cheshire
