'THERE ARE ONLY 15 OF THESE CARS ON THE ROAD TODAY'

Counting the 18 that were listed on eBay earlier today?

I actually don't hate this, it might look okay with paint. Of course, it's bolloxed because it's a kit car and in all the years I've been looking at cars on eBay I don't think I've ever seen a kit car which wasn't a shambolic mess.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting one of those Subarus, four wheel drive and turbocharged.  Should be great for impressing the blokes down the pub.

Actually I don't think this one is turbocharged, and I'm not even sure if it's got 4WD.  But it's still a cutie pie.

From the same seller is this Daihatsu, which definitely is turbocharged.  Kei cars were limited to their power but tiny Japanese cars are usually an entertaining drive

I've seen all these cars today. There's a really nice 304 estate in bronze, a 604 saloon, the 604 GTI, 4 504 vans, the N reg van is sold. I've bought the 104SR , not listed here. He has an absolutely mint 305SR with 43,000 on a T plate....working on him for that. He had 2 505 estates, an uber rare 505 4x4. I've taken loads a pics that I will load up. Cars coming to e bay but he's selling most before. A 40ft container coming this week from Gana to take shed loads of 504 and 505 stuff to Africa...

We all love a Calibra, but this one looks particularly good.  A 16V 4x4 but non turbo.  Sure is purdy

If I remember right, the diesel Vauxhall Nova was a peppy little thing.  Road test normally put the Pug 205 diesel as the winner, but the little Novas were quite a bit faster.  This one is much faster

$_84.JPG

Bigger turbo which, the seller reckons, gives 130bhp.  Calibra front brakes too so I reckon this would be a bit of a laugh

'drinking as much as ten litres of water per day. six shock absorbers broke in less than 5 Kilometers. Both cars were fully re-built around 5 times'

So, just the standard Mini fayre, then?

The Suzuki Baleno GSR is an interesting car, it's a bit quicker than most warm hatchbacks and quite rare too.

I didn't realise the Suzuki Ignis Sport was getting so cheap.  I suppose all the new little hatchbacks have free road tax so anything where you have to fork out a few quid for tax disc is undesirable.  I like these for the boy racer looks and Recaro seats with fishnet headrests.  I admit it's not the most sensible buying criteria.

I used to have a black 106 Rallye with white wheels, a good colour scheme if you've got little aesthetic ability

I've no idea if nine grand is good value for a Skyline like this, but this one looks really nice

I saw one of these Celicas the other day.  Unusual to see one without a spoiler on the boot but it's a really clean shape.

The usual gloomy black interior of sporty VWs, but otherwise quite a handsome car.  Dunno if this V6 is the one to get, or the 16V four cylinder.  I remember reading the supercharged version didn't really suit the character of the car.

Appropriate numberplate for the modern Nova buyer

This looks like a worthwhile investment of anyone's time.

Every so often I look at Land Rover 110 Station Wagons, but I'm always mortified by the prices that even ropey ones go for.  I should really stop looking, I'm just hurting myself.  I'd get better results trying to find a Ferrari for under 3 grand, or a Mk1 Escort for under 10 grand.

Look at this disgusting turd.  I bet this will go for £1500+
