should this really be a Maxi 2?

and is that blaze, or is it vermillion?

sounds like it needs the displacers regassing, which sounds easy enough, and i should get this done on the metro, but the thought of depressurising the cans, taking them off, sending them away and then, hopefully get them back onto the car and refilled fills me with sort of dread that scares me witless...

not overly expensive and the body looks tidy, but i like the Maxi.....

I have got a MAJOR LEAGUE HWOARN for this Rover 45 V6 with cripplematic gearbox

$_85.JPG

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281903280036

got a few dings but still looks pretty genuine and unmolested. 5 months test and no cambelt information. How much do you reckon it'll make? £350?

THESE V6 ENGINES ARE VERY RARE, AND WITH AUTO EVEN SCARCER

Theyre all autos you goon.

I have no need at all for this but it looks nice and I proper fancy it in a Philippa Forrester stylee

No, if anything it's a 1.5 (twin column stalks.

Vermillion.

Being sold by those carswithnoreserve shitehawks in Reading, there was a discussion on here about them a while back. Expect it to be relisted under some pretence if it doesn't fetch the coin they want!

I love these. They look like the sort of thing some terminally insane mega rich 84 year old would buy, plus they're incredibly odd in such a cool way

Didn't they have push button gears, or have I just imagined that?

A friend of my dad's bought one of these new in the early 1980s. A mad thing to do really, because they're really rather odd and were the price of a nice house back then. They are wonderful though. I don't think there is a car which gives a greater sense of occasion when riding in it. The standard Rolls-Royce is quite something for that, but the Camargue is on another feel-good level. AFAIK, he still has it. He certainly did when my dad died back in 2009

"**PLEASE NOTE**
THE ENGINE IS A MORRIS 1.3L
NOT A TRIUMPH AS INITIALLY LISTED"

It's not even that. Looking at the picture and checking the DVLA details which show the engine capacity as 1800cc and being a part-time rivet-counter, I'm fairly certain that is a British Leyland 1798cc B-series engine out of 1.8 Marina with the 1 3/4" HS6 SU carburettor and not a 1.3 A-series.

I clicked the link and it says in red: "buyer is responsible"

And I though No. No he is not.

What would you do with that information?

just see if the tests were done at the same station. Interesting if the car fails then passes at a different one within a short space of time.

looking at the pics i'm guessing that the headlamp panels and inner wings as a minimum will be fooked, underneath those newer wings.

i wonder both how bad this old thing is underneath, and just how much it will sell for?

$_57.JPG

i love the XJC, they are lovely looking.

On a four post ramp but no pics of underneath. I think that answers the question.
