cort16 Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Princess Alert. Seems a bit salty to me at £600 given it's not got any mot and is probably in bits. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/british-leyland-princess-600-ono-or-offers/106892840
vulgalour Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 That Princess has another ad too, for a slightly higher price: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-moto ... /106765886 and I'm pretty sure it was on eBay earlier this year with exactly the same details in the advert. Something seems suspicious about the adverts, but I can't put my finger on it.
willswitchengage Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Smart old Carina, but a dealer ad so price is double what it should be Apparently this was caused by hailstones
M'coli Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I could believe it - someone on here posted pictures of their red car (BMW?) with hailstone dents in it the other week.
retro80sboy Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Nice Maestro on Retro Rides, tax and tested, £550.
trigger Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I heard the hail was bad, I feel sorry for the lad who owns this GTR http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/166510-gtr-s ... storm.html. He's a young driver with a £1500 excess and the best quote to fix so Far's been £22000!
cheguava Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I heard the hail was bad, I feel sorry for the lad who owns this GTR http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/166510-gtr-s ... storm.html. He's a young driver with a £1500 excess and the best quote to fix so Far's been £22000! In 1983, my folks were caught in the middle of a hailstorm like that, driving my mum's russet brown Allegro 3, which boasted "elestrostatically bonded" paint. Coincidentally or not, it didn't chip at all, and the panels didn't dent at all. The caravan next to our house was dented all across the (aluminium) roof. Oh yes, tat... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1981-AUSTIN-MORRIS-MINI-CITY-BEIGE-/261069263524?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cc8f0d2a4 99p start, with as much MIni TADTS as you could want! Missing rear subframe mounts would complete the set.
trigger Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-FORD-MON ... 27c9420eaa A early K plate without cracked bumpers. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-SEAT-MAR ... 2c66dcb49a Crappy photoed Marbella with 37k for a £1 starting price no reserve.
R9UKE Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Another expert photographer. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-moto ... /106941539 driver and passenger windows dont go down otherwise 100%
Spiny Norman Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 This looks well smart for £650 even if it is LHD.
willswitchengage Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 GRroot-1 for not making a statement. And the award for laziest hiding of a numberplate goes to...
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Maestro numberplate would (almost) suit DEUCE BIGALOW, AUSTIN GIGOLO. Also that Mk1 Mondeo is rather fit. Can't actually believe I typed that so off for a lie down now. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alfa-Romeo-33 ... 43b1d2ba61 'Brakes feel a bit wooden'
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1954-Nash-Hea ... 4d032754ec
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Excrement the sleeping utensil, how bloody cheap is this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/jaguar-s-type ... 35be5e3c53 £550 V8 with shit loads of MOT in Widnes. Can't help wondering what the catch is or how many pieces it would explode into on the M53 coming home. Sadly I haven't got £550 to find out.Warren? Pete M?
Mr H Sceptre Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Can't be arsed posting a photo, but this Princess (with MOT & no reserve) looks pretty tidy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUSTIN-PRINCESS-2200-HLS-MET-GREEN-WITH-GOLD-VELOUR-INTERIOR-LONG-MOT-48K-/221069146568?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3378bf79c8
Spiny Norman Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Isn't that the one someone on here's bidding on?
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 4 VAN! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-4-F6- ... 27c940ac5f
Mr_Bo11ox Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-VAUXHALL ... 0826302582 175th turn on eBay for this thing, wonder if it will make it to the end of auction this time before he pulls it? I see he's twatted it into a kerb and bent the rear axle since the last attempt to bay it off. Pulled after 2 1/2 days!!!
eddyramrod Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Isn't that the one someone on here's bidding on? Yes: Skizzer, IIRC. Good luck fella!
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Have some cars that I can't think of anything nice to say about: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1979-MORRIS-M ... 20c874d771 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Fiat- ... 3cc8f2dbc8
Mr_Bo11ox Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOW-MILEAGE-1 ... 0704414069 Wow!!!
Mash Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I think a few people have been trying to contact the seller of that Stanza on the Datsun forum but to no avail. Funnily enough there's an identical one for sale in NI http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-moto ... /106779560
cort16 Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Hi M8 DO U KNOW IF THIS WLL FIT A 1996 CORSA? WOOD U TAKE 100,000 WILL COLLECT 2NITE http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Concorde-Rolls-Royce-Turbojet-engine-and-afterburner-complete-/110912493788?pt=UK_Collectables_Aeronautica_MJ&hash=item19d2e658dc
Mash Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 This is stupidly cheap, would have punt myself if it was a bit nearer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CIVIC-I ... 0802217519
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 'Future classic' http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FUTURE-CLASSI ... 3f1a0e4c67 If that's a future classic I'm equally sure that Lord Lucan is going to show up riding Shergar through the Lost City of Atlantis with Maddie under his arm.
Cavcraft Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-127-Mark ... 231fe9e8ea I'm not saying this car is fit but on a scale of 1-10 I'd defo give it one.
AeroNautiCal Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 This is the most hideous piece of vehicular shit that I can recall seeing! The V6 406 Coupe's are gorgeous, and to do that to one is a fucking crime!
