'Custom flat bottom' mk4 Golf base model non leather steering wheel starting at £99. Basically the bottom rim has been cut off, and it doesnt include the airbag

Cost £££s to make.

No idea how, 10mins with a saw would surely be all it took?

Could go down the local breakers and buy one of these and ruin it to look like this for about £10.

There's a lot of great bullshit in that advert

The vendors are masters of copy + paste, it seems. Their listing for an Alfa 159 goes one better:

"In summery car is a fantastic vehicle that is much sought after mostly due to it's extremely low running and maintenance costs whilst still carrying that famous award winning badge Of Vauxhall".

One of my old housemates had a Nova 1.2 about 10 years ago (when they were just shit rather than retro). One night we heard a load of revving outside of the terraced student house but thought nothing of it. Completely failed to put 2+2.

Next morning we come out to find the Nova has moved 2 parking spaces up, is further from the kerb, missing half a tank of petrol and a halfords stereo.

He didn't realise until he got in it to go to Sainsbury's and it was nearly out of pez!

That Nova was so miserable the joyriders returned it.

Sister has a Navara, used as it's supposed to be covered in horse shit and mud, used for heavy towing. It gets inspected carefully for impending snappage but it's solid, there doesn't seem rhyme nor reason to which ones are effected.

Seller messaged me back and said it cannot go back on road, it's for banger racing only. Maybe the V5 is going off to say it's been scrapped or something?

Banger race looks about best place for it, it looks rotten. The uncracked bumpers would be worth whipping off though.

I've re written the advert for him!

Hi,

I’m selling this on behalf of a private collector. Here we have a nice 1999 Jaguar XJ8, 3.2l, V8, X308.

It was taken off the road at the start of 2017, it was driven here with the last MOT expiring at the end of June 2017. Unfortunately the owner has become ill and we are selling off part of his collection. We are waiting for paper work to come into us, if it’s not here before the end of the auction I’ll forward it on to the winning bidder. A full receipt will be issued.

This listing is for a nice green XJ8, very solid but could do with a wash and a clean due to her being sat in dry barn for a year.

The engine runs and started first time with a fresh battery. (Unfortunately it will require a new battery as this was my spare.) She goes forwards and back fine, and from memory has no untoward dash lights on.

It doesn’t look to bad under the car but may require some welding. Please note this car is for recommissioning and will require work to obtain a MOT.

It has done approx. 107 thousand miles, so comparatively low mileage for the age!

We have had an interest from a local Jaguar breakers but we feel this car deserves a 2nd chance, I also know the owner would prefer to see her back on the raod rather than bean cans! it would be a shame to break.

The XJ range are going up in value they really are a very stylish car - a timeless look!

We can deliver anywhere in the UK, please contact us with your details for a competitive quote.

We will require a £150 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending. Please only bid if you can do this, sorry to all the genuine bidders.

99p no reserve - Highest bidder wins, no haggling after the fact. If you would like to come and view before the auction ends please get in contact we are more than happy to accommodate!

Thanks for looking and good luck!

And what exactly would your fucking problem be, sir?

Not that I give a flying fuck about it, mind.

None. Just testing your Beige Pager to see if it was working. It does, as I got an appropriate reply out of you. If I got no reply or some nonsense such as "Oooh, lush." about a VW or "CX brakes are fantastic", I'd send the men in white coats round.
