Anyone who turns up with queens heads to pay for either the Capri or Mini should expect to be hit over the back of the head, and return home on foot, with lighter pockets and a hatred of gumtree scamming bastards.

Agreed. I posted them on the slim chance they are real, but the more I look at them, the less and less likely that seems. I feel as though I saw that mini, or a very similar one about half a year back with the same photos and a far higher price. Something about that Capri ad is very shady too.

It's depressing that a rusty Mini with a week's test left on it for sale at £1,200 is now considered so cheap as to be considered a scam...

Top work on the hot air intake, you cockwomble!

 

The previous owner of an MX-5 I had a few years back had stuck a massive cone filter in the same place, right above the exhaust manifold. I sourced a stock airbox and it ran so much better afterwards.

The advert is actually hilarious in its use of contradictions. "All work done" but needs the brakes overhauled, and numerous other bits replaced. What a heap.
