I like them too, my L plates were on a Herald saloon.  The estates were always a bit thinner-spread.

 

In other news, giffer Rover has gone over £500.  I'm definitely oot.

Those Capris are Crapi, I wouldn't touch one with a ten-foot pole, They leak like sieves and drive appallingly.

My Aunt had one, She scrapped it at 7 years old with 2 new roofs, a new interior and no floorpans. She replaced it with a MX-5 which was exponentially better.

Hey thats my old one! Sold it to him ages ago for resto. The o/s rear panel is totally absolutely fooked, you can actually put your arm through it and touch the rear seat!

Unfortunately an auto, but good, unmolested minis are pretty hard to find, especially in this state. £1800 isn't a terrible price either. I'm surprised some white room dealer hasn't snapped this up and put a huge mark up on it yet
