Facepalm....

 

 

 

I'm not good at the car but someone who said he was good enough said it would be a motor problem
(something about the transmission belt)

 

Well....If he (Someone who thinks he is good) thinks Mercedes of this vintage have transmission belts, he definitely KNOW'S FUCKALL!.

 

Mercedes of this vintage,have a very good,& pretty reliable 722.6 Transmission, Which is a 5 speed Auto. I can 100% say, these do not have transmission belts!! It is an Electronic conductor plate, which as it gets older, fails & causes loss of drive, or thumping gear changes, Low level/old transmission fluid also causes these symptoms. New conductor plate & 8 Litres of fresh 100% genuine Mercedes Transmission fluid & they are as good as new, with seamless, smooth gear changing.

 

 

My advice to the person who thinks he is good.....Stick to fixing your Volvo 340's you tit...

I think aircon is standard on the 160,my Express has got it.

My guess is that they just took the KMH speedo and recalibrated it to show MPH.  It is pretty unusual to see one with no KMH markings here.

I think aircon is standard on the 160,my Express has got it.

 

 

I bet "aircon not working but just needs a re-gas" is standard fitment by now

Didn't realise Renault fitted wank wolfrace wheels from new mate.

 

paint is in good order except the bonnet and NSF wing which have been resprayed with rattle cans  .Maybe wrap the bonnet matt black ?
