I was going to put a 2.0 8 valve injection engine in it and build an Sri replica estate similar to a magazine feature car I had seen. Due to too many on going projects and another baby on the way I have decided to not build the project and sell the car original and as a runner.

 

Thank fuck for that! (see what I did there?)

Since my uncle is 93 and while he claims to have good eyesight there is now a dent in pretty much every panel (the roof is o.k.)

 

 

Some bits of leather are coming detached from their backing panels too

 

OMG, dear little uncle is an old tiger, look you!

 

 

 

The mechanic who looked this over tells me this…

 

 

There is an oil leak underneath. He couldn’t tell if it was coming from the engine or gearbox however I read that the gearboxes are sealed for life items this one may be trying to make a break for it! There are no odd noises but a new gearbox could be the best part of £1000.

 

That would have been the very last time this mechanic would have looked over any of my cars.

For piss taking I'm certainly not reliant on external assistance.

If you lost the Pikey spec chrome mirror, wheeltrims and graphics. I'd prefer that to any multi thousand quid T4 or T5 Pineapplewagen, with their so individual lairy Kawasaki Green/ RAC Orange paint and scabby Range Rover Sport wheels.

ONE OF THE GEARBOX MOUNTS IS BROKEN, AND APPARENTLY THE GEARBOX CONNECTING ROD IS EITHER BROKEN OR OUT OF PLACE, AND THE GEARBOX INHIBITOR SWITCH MIGHT NOT BE WORKING.

 

Sounds a potential ballache I don't need though.
