I like those mats. I find fresh floor mats really smarten up any car

I like them too. They are designed to fit the car.

Eccles seems to be averaging about 47mpg with a mix of town and dual carriageway driving, not too bad. He has done 280 miles on about half a tank of diesel

Annoyed with myself as I misjudged a gap at work earlier on and caught the front bumper on an old bus wheel putting a scrape on the bottom of it, so I have ordered some touch in paint to repair it

Whilst on taxi duty tonight picking up my stepdaughter after I finished work I had a play around with the radio getting the stations tuned in that I wanted. I never realised how many DAB stations there are.

Nothing to do with Eccles at all but for a laugh one of my workmates and I have just been speccing a top of the range 7 seat Genesis G80 online, Genesis being the luxury brand of Hyundai.

It came in at over £65000!

😮

£65k for a Hyundai!!

Just been touching in the damage from the other day, looks better than it did.

Phone connection with Ford Sync is fine, had a play around with it earlier.

Eccles reached 95k miles on the drive to work this morning. No photo as I was on the A63 at the time.

I bet Eccles feels a lot more refined than Henry

He is, a lot more

Gave Eccles a wash today and been round touching in the worst of the stone chips, especially where it had gone to metal, to try and stop rust spots appearing.

Had a nice weekend in Bedfordshire this last weekend, Eccles did around 500 miles in 3 days though I forgot to make a note of the mileage before we left so I'm unsure exactly how many. We went to a couple of farm places, The Shuttleworth Collection and Gardens and finished at Blenheim Palace yesterday.

Since our trip away at the weekend Eccles had developed an annoying squeak and last night I finally figured out what it was, the passenger sun visor hadn't been clipped back in properly and as the car went over a bump the visor moved.

Had a ride out to the IWM at Duxford today in Eccles, been a nice trip.

We had a ride out in Eccles to Donna Nook earlier on to see the seals, not many there today as its still early in the season for them. He clicked over 97k on the way home.

As mentioned on the LEJOG Montego thread I am considering doing LEJOG in a car that costs less than the train fare for my 40th in 2027. The nearest stations are Penzance and Wick.
