Thanks! CX looked very good, but it's only been here since 2003 - I hope they keep it in good shape. Nice plate to for an imported 1977 car: 77-YA-77 :D

I missed the last update - is that a gun rack on the roof of the Pink Floyd van? Seems to be a large amount of yank tin there which seemed strange to me as I think the streets would be pretty narrow.

Posted

I think/hope it's for a kayak... and as long as you stay out of the city center there's no problem with US cars :D

True, but I always try to post more than one spot... oh well, quality over quantity this time.

Of all the varieties of the '57 Chevy, the 210 4 door sedan is the least desirable, but somehow still mega cool!! How much would I love to roll up to work in that!!?

I cant decide whether I like the later rubber-bumper ones like this best or the early ones with the small taillights and lots of chrome.

Here's a pretty good 1985 2600S:

A 500R with a door that once advertised First Floor classic cars, a company that brings your car to Poland for restoration (they quoted me over 3500 euros for painting the Flo... no thanks!)

Posted Image

'Remember the heroes' - a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Diesel with a nice FDNY plate.

And lastly, WOW! 1974 L207 with a boatavan or caraboat on it...

I'm trying to think which of those terms sounds best for it! Maybe just refer to it as a barge? Fantastic!

Posted

Put one of those V-shaped TV antennas above the windscreen and refer to it as THE SLUG, bonus points if it has an oil leak so it leaves a trail behind it. It's brilliant!

Posted

Has it got the famous "Marina flap" door handle, I mean if its good enough for Lotus

Here's a VW based one:

I remember seeing one from the train for years in a used camper lot, surrounded by flashy new campers and caravans. How I wanted it...

Posted

WOW! that camper is something else! love it....
