The bottom of the tailgate has developed holes in itself.

 

With regards to a story I really am not sure - that and the hijet have been parked up a long while. The whole place is thick in undergrowth and up ahead ly a small chalet type structure - blinds were shut but could make out a light was on behind the blinds....could be a fantastic place with some work. I will find out a bit more re these....

There's still air in the rear tyre and the shade seems to have done its part. To be honest that Hijet has done well being parked inside the trees. Probably less holey as well... depending on where you look.

Given how much overgrowth there was down there today it feels incredibly damp down there.....

Ah. It's incredibly damp down here. A farmer used a Yugo 45 as a gate blocker. The damp basically turned it into a pile of white coloured rust.

Daihatsu is on SORN. MOT ended 24th April 2013.

 

Lancia Untaxed as of 1st May 1997. Never had MOT.
