Oh fuck. I'd better go talk to the wife.

I love how you get this far before thinking about that.

What's happening to the zx?

Posted

I suppose the worst bit of doing this sort of thing is that when it all kicks off people want the usual methods off communication. Unfortunately, as much as you want to, you can't help anyone out or it would be unfair. It worked out tho, and the amusement of Kens posts really made me lol. Much better than being offered a toaster and broken xbox Playstation2 on Ebay. Plus the car remains in the group and won't be turned into OMGDRIFTKING... yet...

I know my track record isn't great with cars but as I've said I tend to purchase at scrap value and hope for the best. The zx us a damn fine car just the size is a struggle. The BMW is a decent size and it's substantially better than most white I buy. Zx excluded as that's a decent motor!

Well I survived. The address is a smoll yard type thing that a big hotel backs onto. There wuz a dodgy looking geezer hanging round. He wasn't BM though, he looked most uninterested in the i10 and I, thankfully.

It was actually okay driving round London at that time and on a Sunday, traffic was minimal, the dickheads were safely asleep still and there were no hordes of wild Uber drivers hunting in packs. Elderly'ish satnav did me proud and got me straight to the address. came back past the London Eye and through the tunnel onto the safety* of the North Circular. Wuld not do on any other day though, feck that for a game of soldiers

Mr BM is a sound chap and tbh it was a bit anxiety provoking but quite intriguing too.

I haz BMW key and a new Keeper slip which will be posterated tomorrow to that Demon of Destruction, Bub.

Bub...... blonde, slim, mid 20's, perky boobs please. No, not you in a dressing gown.

Now for some cheese on toast!

I'm blonde with perky boobs but I certainly ain't mid 20s. Or slim..,.

It's a shame the timing wasn't better, Dean isn't too far away and perhaps could have driven you to the BMW and taken the ZX away afterwards.

Dean has dropped out of the zx now sadly but have another interested party.

To win* this car all you have to do is get a rather ropey selfie with this sign in the background....

So are we still waiting on a winner then ?

Posted

No selfie was taken I don't think. Ken had no access to the interweb

Posted

I could do cambridge today but not in the week, just the key is in London I think.

The key is in London and I'd gladly go today but I've no money at all for fuel or anything

No he won fair and square. That is one of the ropiest selfies I've ever seen! I mean, he's not even in it!! FFS Ken 1/10 must try harder.
