Just look at the bullet holes..

Now I would love one,but i'm as classy as a frying pan..

If my Daimler isn't classy enough how about a Jaguar MKV

Even with whitewalls

55-56 caddy convertible

I never liked the fifties cars; from 1949 to 1959 they don't do anything for me. 1959-69 is where it's at for me.

May I start this with the Lancia Flaminia PF coupe. Which I guess will be the single post here as it is the answer...

With you on the Flaminia Lanciaman. Is your forum picture of your 8.32 engine?

It is indeed. Now back in place after engine out belt change and general tidy up. Refinished cam covers, the full works. Due in for mot this week.

One of these two, I'm not sure which.

Definitely the red one, though the silver one isn't that bad.

For the uneducated few who don't "get" Huggy, the title must go to Squire Dawson's Humber.  Mustn't it?

Whether or not a car is classy, very much like whether or not a car is a classic really amounts to whatever you think it is. You know when it is lacking (image 1) and equally when it’s there by the bucketload (image 2) Generally rare and subtle; but one persons subtle is another’s my god that is boring. I think we can all agree my Mondeo isn’t classy.

But to my eyes, despite its obviousness as a badge, this whole image very much is; it’s even got a classy number plate.

This thread is making me grin, half of the suggested cars don't even function as cars properly!

^^^ Only thing missing is a little bit of parking damage on the front bumper; as having a slightly aloof attitude about it is th classiest way of owning that. I bet Audrey Hepburn didn’t swan about, top down with a big red FERRARI baseball cap on, somehow.

They do however all seem to be driven by cunts.

I'm not sure a VW Crafter counts as a car.

Has to be the proper range rover.

I can think of no place or event where it would be inappropriate to arrive in one.

Sports cars are caddish, rolls et al are vulgar.

Class is simple, elegant, exudes presence and confidence without shouting about it. b04533828d8e830e4308ca1b74ecb16b.jpg

Good call, but it should be a 3 door on steel wheels.

Covered in mud, with a few dings and a couple of labradors in the back.

Unfortunately, the four door also inappropriately seen with murdered drug dealers in, so possibly not classy

See, to me, they were trying too hard there. But they got it spot on here. More subtle and more classy because of it.

Strangely that would be absolute bottom of my list, driven by chavs and fat men in badly fitting suits. Only one place is appropriate to arrive in one - local DSS office.

Maybe ten or fifteen years ago but not even the P38 remains at that point of the depreciation curve.

Most chavs would turn their noses up at a range rover classic because "its old and shit innit"

Also, a sound classic will cost you more than an L322 with blacked out windows and 20inch phat rims....and I know which one your average chav / aspirational suit wearer would buy

Possibly true but you don’t see them on the road (lots of p38s around here still in the bracket though), what you do see is hoards of them at the local retail park and queuing at Maccy D’s with a thousand kids in the back, a tattooed tart in the passenger seat and baseball cap wearing moron in the drivers seat. And it seems the same in every town I go to. Would not touch one with a barge pole (mind you that’s for many reasons)
