There is a blast from the Andyspares past

Good to see you, there are a few BXClub folks on here! Did I buy a black GSA from you once?

I think you did (assuming you are/were the owner of a long term stored Rover P6) I wish I could remember the reg number of that car.

Nice cars.

Also, nice house.

Ah, not my house unfortunately. Just a weekend holiday rental. Both the BX's are mine though. Thinking about it, I actually am prouder of owning thr BX's than I would be about the house.

Hello Matt. Have often thought you'd fit in here funnily enough!

Hiya Ian,  yes I may have found a new internet home I think.

That's me. I have a thread detailing my old chod, but the black GSA was A79 NBH. I sold it to Rob Moss and I think he decided it wasn't worth restoring but used it as a pattern for remanufacturing some body panels.

I still have the Rover but it's going to someone on here, when we can manage to arrange a collection.

Wow, blast from the past indeed. Somehow thought you'd be on here already...

Aloha Matt! For some reason I thought you were already here under some other pseudonym. Denfinitely brilliant to see you here!

I've given up on the vast majority of other forums too, and really can't be bothered with Arsebook when it comes to car/motoring goups.

Plenty of stories about your CXs please!

Gosh CX's seem like a long time ago now. I cant afford one anymore (well, I say that, if we didn't have 16 cars)

That’s quite some list, and good to see 2 strokes represented.

Always on the lookout for a nice Dyane or ami if you’re selling ;)

As always with these things, some of its for sale happily, some of it isn't going anywhere. I'm afraid at the minute the dyane/ami are on the not going anywhere list.

Drop me a PM if you want to discuss at all mate. No pressure though, I actually don't really like selling things :-D

I will have a rummage in the shed. I'm sure I must have at least some CX parts left.

Series 2 parts? Anything relevant to a (non-turbo) GTi automatic would be much appreciated.

Reminds me I need to extract the current radio/cassette player in the hope of somehow installing* a Blaupunkt "Kingston" and CD-changer for that late '80s/early'90s vibe.
