Hammy's spotting thread

A bit bare at the moment but I've got a few I can add now and more later.

A rather crusty Volvo 121 spotted a few weeks ago near the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

A H reg Nova Merit 1.2 which I briefly owned between November 2008 and January 2009. Had 87k on the clock and 1 owner for most of its life

Posted Image

A Metro I snapped in Abingdon a couple of years ago from my work archive - sadly the drive by shooting didn't fully work.

Posted Image

I'll add more in due course

Posted

Shame the Metro pic has only half captured the registration - don't suppose Google Streetview have got around to that part of the world yet?

Adding in some Malta shite, I just couldnt snap away fast enough as tat came from every angle and the missus got more upset. Can't recommend a visit enough if you've not been.

In the classic car museum, the guy said that the new MOT system and euro emissions would almost certainly spell the end for much of this stuff in the near future. Certainly the bus fleets are supposed to be replaced during 2010.

Dennis Dustcart, there were older Seddons about but didn't get snaps

Not sure whether Google Streetview got it, but I certainly did. Its near my old college and not too far from where I'm working at the moment.

The museum is amazing, spent hours in there, worth the trip just for that (to Malta).

Why can't they leave things alone??:evil::cry::cry:

I saw this too!

Love the ex Tesco Leyland still liveried up!

Its still taxed until October. I took the photo easily 2 years ago whilst doing some site visits in Abingdon where it lives, I must admit I thought it would have died by now!

1962 'Auntie' Rover, been off the road for 10 years this year. Must have been brought on a truck here, as the company has not owned this yard for that length of time. Looked so flakey even the banger mob would think twice.

Posted Image

BMW 635i, been untaxed for 2 years

Posted Image

Doris got out of this late spec 1.1 Ghia, looks like a 1 owner job but it wasnt exactly a minter - sills looked pretty much on the way out next MOT.

Two of these in as many weeks, saw this today in Banbury. Love the cheapo checkerplate on the sills painted white.

Followed this beauty into Didcot off the A34 today, had to get the other half to get the camera and snap it. Being driven by an old boy who could barely see over the wheel.

I think this Cressida was dumped, shame as it was exactly the same shade of brown as the one my Dad owned for a bit whilst I was a nipper.

Whered you go?! But anyway, good shots. The Cressida being another 'worst car for fake alloy of the year' candidate.
