A while ago I went to see a friend of mine race. The whole thing was a bit of a disaster. My friend did not partake, issues with the car. It was too hot for me to stand an watch the hill climb. Plus my camera has a parasitic electrical drain so the battery was died quickly.

These are the only shots i managed to take. All from the Parc Fermé.

Saw this on Saturday outside a local supermarket.

Lovely condition with no lacquer peel. Personally I prefer these to the GTE's, a bit more subtle and just as quick.

There was a Classic show in Alicante, and, as is usual, some of the more interesting cars were in the car park.

And this in the main hall. Not seen one for years. 20230311_121821.thumb.jpg.244b3284af62ac18ecd184acbe35af94.jpg

Airport car park.

On the way there I also saw a Mk1 ADO16 parked at the side of the road with a for sale sign on it. I will scan the Dash Cam footage for it.

This was at a recent show in Alicante. Not seen one here before.

Looked quite original, but on the other hand, it could have been restored at some point.

Probably Spanish made by Authi. The shells were shipped from the UK - the rest, including engines were of Spanish manufacture because of import restrictions.

An here is the screen shot, from the dash cam of said car. It looks as if it needs a suspension recharge. My Spanish vehicle registration app dates the plates  being 1975. If that is correct this would be one of the last to be registered. Authi closed i's factory during 1975. It was known as  a Austin de Luxe.

Whilst searching  more about this car I came across this website.

http://www.dodge.es/index.html

The range of Dodge cars sold in Spain. It is an official Chrysler website. It does ask  to download Adobe Flash. The only date I can find is on this page  (2004) http://www.dodge.es/extras/historia/2000.html
