purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Luckily there is nothing reasonably close by for under 500 quid that is the same size or smaller than the MGF (3910mm x 1780mm). This is what will fit inside my lock up. Thank goodness. privatewire and Kringle 2
purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 Seems that a Rover 45 and PT Cruiser are too long.
loserone Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 You need to fix the Toledo, Ken Tamworthbay, purplebargeken and SiC 3
Tamworthbay Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 What about model cars Ken? They don’t get HGF or EML and take up less space? Lord Sterling and purplebargeken 2
loserone Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 But they do use up Toledo fixing money! purplebargeken 1
purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 I know, I know....... I also have model cars. I'm just....... window shopping...... yeah, window shopping. Deletes ebay history......
Sigmund Fraud Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 *COUGH*DAF*COUGH* Tamworthbay and HillmanImp 2
Tamworthbay Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 And if you buy the Daf I can stop drooling and trying to work out how to park it on top of the Capri. Sigmund Fraud and purplebargeken 2
clayts450 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Seems that a Rover 45 and PT Cruiser are too long. Move those boxes out of the way, Ken, there's always* room for a Cruiser. And hands off my 45. She's a keeper. Anyway, you're self-banned from buying anything. Stay strong.
Tamworthbay Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 He won’t, it’s in his DNA. I give it to the weekend. clayts450, Sigmund Fraud, purplebargeken and 1 other 4
clayts450 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 He's done really well to get this far, to be fair. purplebargeken and Sigmund Fraud 2
purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 I actually think I have lol. Sadly am 250 quid short for the Daf and there is the whole getting it up here thing. Is out of my reach tbh. An AX would indeed fit but again getting it here.... urrgghh.
purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 Really do wish I hadn't sold the blue one to be honest. SiC and The Moog 2
Guest Hooli Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 But you spamming every wanted thread with the bloo AX entertained me for weeks! DeeJay, rantingYoof, Kringle and 1 other 4
purplebargeken Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 Must admit I did enjoy doing it. It's that evil streak inside that is responsible lol. Brodders, DeeJay and Tamworthbay 3
The Moog Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Really do wish I hadn't sold the blue one to be honest.Seriously have a word with yourself! You tried hard enough Mister Ken You would have swapped it for some magic beans if you had the chance purplebargeken 1
Brodders Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Luckily there is nothing reasonably close by for under 500 quid. https://www.gumtree.com/p/vauxhall/vauxhall-cavalier-classic/1301227540 same size or smaller than the MGF (3910mm x 1780mm). This is what will fit inside my lock up. Collection this weekend? Sigmund Fraud and clayts450 2
purplebargeken Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 A cunning plan indeed. Hmmm, magic beans......... if only I had a blue AX Hindsight is a thing that needs kicking in the balls lol. DeeJay 1
purplebargeken Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 To be fair, the Toledo needs the following: Relocate the fan switch to a bracket on the dash. As above re: overdrive swtch Fit a reversing light (which I have) Oil and filter change Change wheel studs and nuts Bit of paint here and there. Refurb the headlight brackets (am halfway through with the correct items) and refit. Consider some spotlights. Annoyingly the 165 seats which I was informed would fit..... don't. So the originals are going back in. Not an exhaustive or expensive list.
castros_bro Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 There's an AX which may include delivery service.
