Might be although I'm moving house and suspect that Lady Grumpius is going to 'persuade' me to do some packing..!

No interesting cars here.  But hey.  I'm battered enough.

Right.  I am informed that I am not busy that afternoon.  Therefore I endeavour to attend!  Whether or not this is a good thing is entirely up to you guys..

I shall put myself down as a 'maybe' on this meet as the scruffy Saab is being advertised for sale very soon but I shall probably still have it on the 13th!

Not too far from Bran Dshatch the day when 2CVs are going round so..........have a Smoll car so I can join in?

Of course, all welcome to talk shite whether or not you are driving shite.

Confirmed, diary clear.

Mentioned it to Mrs P and she said "what a shame you don't have any shite to go down there in". She has a friend in Maidstone so I will drop her off there and pop up afterwards. Might mean I am in a Fiat 500x but it will just be good to meet some of you guys, even if I am sans shite.

Would like to propose a world record attempt on most people performing a synchronised Woollard (provided one of our cars has a front bumper capable of handling it!)

Up for that but I don't think a MK IV Golf has the structural capacity.  We can give it a damn good go.  Break out the wide angle lenses, lads.

Mrs P said "what a shame you don't have any shite to go down there in".

If ever there was a green light to go and buy something utterly, breathtakingly shit - then that is it.

May 13th falls on the same weekend as the rather good Faversham town centre transport gathering so meeting up at Detling would be a tidy end to the day in my opinion.

I will get along in the Honda crx or Saab base if it get it tested in time.

That's true, I'd forgotten about that, I was a Faversham lad, but have never been to that show!

http://www.faversham.org/carshow

Saturday is a celebration of the big and beautiful, showcasing buses with FREE vintage bus rides and majestic commercial vehicles lining the historical streets of Faversham, a vibrant market, independent shops, cafes and entertainment for the children, a great day out not to missed.

Sunday the town plays hosts to over 350 cars and motorcycles through the ages. The vehicles fill the town centre and
offer an interesting insight into travel through time. Take a nostalgic stroll around the town, talk to the proud owners and share stories whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of this wonderful event.

Are?

It won't start, and needs some electrical diagnosin' and theres something else i should be at on 13th. Will try to get along if i can, im rather proud of how awful it looks at the moment and would love to up the red oxide primer quotient.

Can you put me down as 'hopeful'?

It does look poorly. Well done!

Do you think you have another tiny insignificant wire lodged somewhere it shouldn't be again?

That's the best side. I think it's battery/starter motor/alternator or the wiring in between, or something like that, need to find the time to have a look at it. The problem with having a car I don't need to use regularly is it's never a priority to fix it when something needs doing!

It's exactly what I'd like, too, but the timing is wrong for me. Hopefully Sam will keep me in mind if ever he sells!
